We provide most dental
services in one office. This has allowed perfect continuity of
care and very high quality results when comprehensive treatment is
needed. Most of
our patients, from Age 2 to 98, require just preventive visits, yearly
xrays and cleanings.
For patients with
toothaches, we spend time to diagnose exactly what the problem is.
We can then either provide Gum treatment, Root canal treatment or
removal of teeth with replacements where needed.
We provide mainly tooth colored fillings
and have been doing this routinely for the last twenty five years.
Results have been excellent. For teeth which require more support
we provide Porcelain fused to Gold crowns, full cast gold crowns, or all
porcelain crowns where esthetics is of the utmost importance.
For those missing teeth or where a tooth
cannot be saved we replace teeth with fixed bridges or implants
(artificial roots). We also replace teeth with removable bridges
that are anchored firmly to remaining teeth or to implants (artificial
roots). For those
patients who unfortunately cannot save the remaining teeth we take time
to replace teeth with dentures or plates. Today these can be
anchored with implants and can be very firm and comfortable.
We take the time and
care to provide immediate replacements that are fixed if possible.
Even the removable immediate replacements can be anchored to be very
solid and allow our patients to chew in comfort and feel self assured.
All our treatment is
done with cosmetics in mind.
We also provide specific cosmetic
treatment. This usually involves whitening of teeth, cosmetic
contouring, porcelain veneers, or composite bonding.
Adult orthodontics is also done in our
office to align the teeth for excellent esthetics and function.
We provide custom
fitted mouthguards to avoid sports injuries.
For all our cases we fully evaluate TMJ (tempero-mandibular
joint - jaw joint) difficulties and can provide treatment. This
usually involves simple repositioning of the jaw with a removable
appliance to re-establish long term comfort and function.
